As a Medical Assistant student, you will learn to perform such clinical procedures as Phlebotomy, EKGs and routine laboratory tests. You will learn to assist physicians during patient examinations and be trained in preparation of medical insurance bills and reports. The program is a 900 hours; 600 hours are Theory and Skills which will be taught Online with a live instructor and in the skills lab supervised by an instructor. All 600 hours will be with a live instructor. The balance 300 hours at the end of the classroom training are at an doctors office/internship site.
